Bellagio, known as the " Como Lake’s pearl" is located at the end
of the promontory which divides into two branches the lake. This
enchanting location, the superb villas and small houses one
against the other, the lush vegetation and mild climate made it a
favorite destination for famous men, like Pliny the Younger,
Stendhal, Parini, Manzoni, Toscanini, Liszt.
During the nineteenth century Bellagio has become one of the
most famous tourist centers. The country is divided into twenty-
two villages that offer views always different.
The most famous is “Borgo”, which develops around harbor piers
with stairs, squares, shops and craft shops where
manufacturers show their art to the tourist
